Beverly Hills Nasal and Facial Cosmetic Surgeon
Beverly Hills Nasal and Facial Cosmetic Surgeon -
Until now, cosmetic plastic surgery on television was something like Alice in Wonderland, with very unattractive people trying win a most improved or most attractive label.
(Look at some excellant plastic surgery before and after pictures.)
Seemingly, every patient or bride-to-be presented her ugly ducking self and – presto! – in twenty short minutes was changed as if by the wave of a magic wand into a very, very attractive person.
But, lurking beneath the surface were many unhappy botched cosmetic surgery patients who were not so pleased.
A Buddhist saying about unfortunate experiences goes something like, “If you lose, don’t lose the lesson.”
Likewise, there are lessons to be learned from the E! Channel’s T.V. show “Botched.” The botched plastic surgery featured did not just happen out of the blue. Somewhere along the line, a patient made a hasty, uninformed or unrealistic decision.
Take for instance, patients who want to look like movie stars. One was a professional Madonna imitator who did not look enough like, well, Madonna and had yet more plastic surgery to better things. Another wanted to look just like Justin Bieber.
Possible learned lesson: you can only look like yourself, even after the best plastic surgery. A competent cosmetic plastic surgeon routinely turns down such requests even if it’s only for one celebrity body feature – nose, smile, eyes, chest, whatever.
Yet another Botched plastic surgery guest came onto the show for relief of buttocks implants that were installed just across the U.S. border in Tijuana. The patient was in terrible distress because the implants had turned upside down. Yet another woman went there for a cheaper tummy tuck and ended with her private regions near her waistline. The lesson: seek qualified plastic surgeons in the U.S. where you can return if something goes wrong.
