If you’ve ever thought of venturing to Mexico for cheap plastic surgery, listen to the tales of two recent revision surgery patients on E! Channel’s most recent – and season finale — Botched episode. Two cases of bad cosmetic surgery in Mexico were shown.
One, Myesha, an aspiring model, had eye bags on an otherwise lovely face and ventured to Tijuana, Mexico, for a $150 fix.
But, alas, the cheap ‘n’ quick fix only made the eye bagging worse. Complicating things, Myesha had no records of the bad cosmetic surgery and no idea what was injected, causing the two Beverly Hills revision surgeons a lot of puzzled head scratching.
Next was a transgender star, Monique, who says she has had about 200 cosmetic plastic surgeries and about 45 reconstructive procedures including:
- ·Face lifts
- ·Nose jobs
- ·Silicone lip augmentation, also in Tijuana
While Monique wanted multiple corrective surgeries due to her bad cosmetic surgery, the one that bothered her the most were her ear lobes. She didn’t have any, referring to the condition as “Pixie Ears.” It was caused by bad cosmetic surgery that pulled her skin too tight.

A third patient was Kelly, a woman born with cleft lip and palette. Multiple surgeries over her lifetime helped somewhat but she complained of lumps in her top lip and a wide nose that leaned to her right.
Nasal surgeons often say if a nose is twisted on the outside, it is also usually twisted on the inside. And sure enough, on closer inspection the Beverly Hills nasal surgeon found that Kelly’s septum – inside her nose – was blocking a breathing channel.

In surgery, the bad cosmetic surgery was set right again with the lip distortion and leaning nose corrected…although her nose was still too wide for her face.
A better revision plastic surgery came with Myesha’s under eye bagging. In surgery, the Beverly Hills facial surgeon found that whatever was injected in Mexico caused the under eye fat pads to grow. Talk about bad cosmetic surgery!

Without creating a visible scar, the facial plastic surgeon removed the under eye bags.
Now, with a smooth face, Myesha returned to modeling with confidence.
